VISCUS in Latin means "an internal organ of the body located in the great cavity of the trunk" such as the liver, the heart, or the intestine. Viscera is the plural of VISCUS. This album is a collection of singles released previously, which describe very personal, and telluric experiences in my life, or reflections upon life as a whole as we humans progress along its path with age.

The design drives the listener to the album's name, and contents through a clean, and sophisticated art graphism in the form of a heart-shaped flower arrangement. It also intends to communicate sensitivity to life's ambiguous nature, its shades of greys, and our responses to it. 

The fractal nature (a graphic way of representing a mathematical pattern that repeats itself ad eternum if you zoom in on it, shows up even in images that seem to have been drawn chaotically as in Jackson Pollock's paintings; natural structures such as leaves are fractal) of a leaf's enervated structure hints at how life can go full circle, full of ups and downs. 

The red and green specks of color given by the rose on the background tangibly symbolize hope (the green) to the downs (the red) we all experience. 



This is my album VISCUS as a physical USB pen drive, which I made with the intent of being an art installation that can be carried as a decorative token in bags or a brooch for a coat. It's easy to carry and the idea behind this concept is that you can listen to it whenever you may want to have the somewhat forgotten feeling of physically listening to music.
